About Us

Torus Capital Group (“TCG”) is a boutique real estate capital markets advisory firm formed by a seasoned team of financiers, developers, specialty lending, and entrepreneurs.

We operate across 3 main business lines, (i) info capital stack formation & placement, (ii) advisory & restructuring services, and (iii) direct investments in performing and non-performing notes backed by real estate via operating partnerships.

Our clients include top-tier developers, owners, operators, and skilled real estate impresarios. We cater to experienced real estate players, but also seek to partner with the next-gen of real estate institutions, led by entrepreneurs, innovators, and visionary real estate managers.

To clients, we offer purpose-driven, tailor-made bespoke capital stack solutions through a closely managed ecosystem of capital and operating partners.

To capital partners, we offer deal specifically, co-invest opportunities, across major markets in the U.S., each offering invests alongside a select group of innovative real estate sponsors, covering a wide range of transactions, from ground-up development, and acquisitions to recapitalization, repositioning, special situations and workouts.

All co-invest opportunities are at the asset level, providing greater transparency, flexibility, and direct access to joint-venture partners and the ultimate assets.

An integral aspect of our business is our ability to access debt capital providers, which include established debt funds, banks, REITs, private equity, and life companies. This enables us to structure and place fixed and floating rate debt, mezzanine, and preferred equity financing’s that complement each co-invest offering.
